The OA Series is ORSON LASER's premium open bed fibre laser, built for high-volume manufacturing and precision fabrication, where faster cutting and fewer secondary operations translate directly into daily output.
The OA3015 pairs a 3 kW or 6 kW Raycus laser source with a BOCI BLT310 automatic-focusing cutting head, so the focal position is set by the system instead of being adjusted by hand when you change material or thickness. A BOCHU FSCUT 2000E controller and 1.8 kW Bochu servo motors deliver up to 2.0 g acceleration and 200 m/min maximum speed, the fastest in the ORSON sheet laser range, on a heavy plate-welded bed of around 2500 kg.
OA or OC?
The OA is an open bed machine with manual loading. If you want a fully enclosed cabin for operator protection and fume and noise reduction, plus an automatic exchange table for continuous loading, choose the OC Series.

OA Series Questions
What thickness can the OA3015 cut?
With the 3 kW source, the OA3015 cuts carbon steel up to 16 mm, stainless steel up to 8 mm and aluminium up to 6 mm. The 6 kW source increases this to 22 mm carbon steel, 16 mm stainless steel and 12 mm aluminium. See the cut parameters above for production cutting speeds.
Why does the OA Series use an auto-focus cutting head?
The BOCI BLT310 sets the focal position automatically, which speeds up changeovers between materials and thicknesses and helps keep cut quality consistent across jobs.
What power supply does the OA3015 need?
Both versions run on 380 V AC three-phase 50 Hz. The 3 kW machine is rated at 24 kW with a 46 A input current (60 A breaker recommended). The 6 kW machine is rated at 39 kW with an 83 A input current (100 A breaker recommended). These figures exclude the air compressor.
What is included with the OA3015 as standard?
A material collection trolley, remote control, safety glasses, 50 kVA voltage stabiliser, touch screen, fire bricks, automated X, Y, Z lubrication, extraction fan and electronics aircon. A 15 kW, 16 bar air compressor with dryer is optional.
Do you install the machine and train operators?
Yes. ORSON LASER assists with installation and commissioning, trains your operators on machine operation, cutting parameters and maintenance, and provides ongoing technical support and advice on cutting consumables.
